A non-competitive celebration of the end of day-one, the Steps on the Sound Showcase will highlight schools’ and dancers’ artistry. Special guests will include the Seattle Irish Dance Company.
03 / Innovative Specials
Explore your creativity and sign-up for a special! From art to baking, to choreography and more — there is something for everyone. We can’t wait to see your artistry!
Schedule & Arrival Information
-
Please check back on October 1, 2026 for a full schedule. You may see a high-level draft schedule on our syllabus linked above for reference.
-
While the theatre is large, the grades room, Anderson Room, is more intimate with a raised stage. We have the schedule arranged by age group. Once your dancers’ age group has completed their dancers, we will ask you and your family to leave the dance room and explore the venue.
The next age group will then enter the space and get seated.
We will make many announcements to ensure a smooth flow and no one is missing dances.
-
The theatre has many extra rooms which schools may reserve for a dedicated space to gather items, warm-up and rehearse. It’s always easier when you have somewhere to put things!
On both days, there is space in the upper lobby for practicing.
On Sunday, there will be a practice studio adjacent to the Cope-Gillette theatre.
